Starters

Seafood chowder 

Ballycotton smoked salmon with a cucumber, caper and dill salad 

Chicken liver pate with Cumberland sauce and sourdough bread

Savoury stuffed mushrooms with a spiced lamb filling, pickled cucumber and an organic leaf salad

A warm salad of Ardsallagh goat’s cheese, roast peppers, semi sundried tomatoes, pesto, olives and hazelnuts

 

Mains

Grilled Fillet of Hake with Ballycotton crab, wilted spinach and a light red peppercorn sauce

Grilled fillet of Cod with a roast red pepper, sundried tomato and olive salsa

Duck Armagnac – roast young free range duckling with a nectarine and brandy sauce

8oz Fillet Steak with twice cooked Hand cut chips with a choice of Bourguignon (red wine and wild mushroom sauce), au Poivre (Peppercorn, Brandy & cream sauce) or Béarnaise sauce.

Butternut squash, chickpea and spinach curry. Served with aromatic rice

All Main courses are served with seasonal vegetables and potatoes of the day.

Vanilla Ice-Cream tulip with hot raspberry sauce

Selection of home-made ice cream

Man Friday Meringue special with a warm raspberries sauce or hot chocolate sauce
